Incredible atmosphere - from an unassuming outside, walk into a speakeasy style bar with dim lights and live music. Bartenders and servers highly knowledgeable and can make recommendations - the menu is very long! Delicious drinks but pricey!
Amazing place! An actual Speakeasy from the 1920's, meticulously preserved and renovated into a very classy lounge, serving upscale cocktails with Live Jazz music. Beautiful patio, too!
I love this place!! My wife and I have been here a number of times because we love the vibe and the atmosphere here, but most of all we love the food and drinks here too. The staff here are masters of the cocktail making craft and I have to say I’ve never once had a bad tasting cocktail and the consistency of the cocktail making process is flawless. I can’t recommend this place enough for the perfect evening experience with live music at times. If your a cheese and meats lover then get the board, you’ll love it!!
An absolute gem! This cocktail bar offers amazing vibes, live music sessions and a great selection of cocktails, its quality is as good as the best cocktail bars I have been in New York, London, Hong Kong or Paris. A must visit!
I actually know nothing about the food because I've never ordered anything to eat here. The atmosphere, however, is top notch, and something I suspect I would find in a quaint little swanky neighborhood in New York or even across the pond. The bartenders and the wait staff are amazing, creative, and highly professional. The drinks are crafted with much care and creativity. I've been here for private events as well as date nights and just happy hour with one of my best friends. Every experience has been a great one! Definitely a must visit, especially if you are entertaining people from out of town. This is a nice introduction to Cleveland at its finest.
Came for the cookies & cocktails workshop. Nicely done. The speaker was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about bourbon. Beautifully decorated in the backroom for the holidays as well. Staff was pleasant and engaging as usual. Drinks were tasty as well. Can't wait to come back!

The service was excellent, with staff being both accommodating and attentive. Although my girlfriend and I stayed for just one drink, we shared the goat cheese dip, which truly stole the show. The whipped goat cheese was perfectly complemented by candied bacon, sweet dates, and a drizzle of hot honey. Paired with crispy crostini, each bite was a delightful balance of flavors and textures. Our cocktails were skillfully crafted, making The Velvet Tango Room a great choice for well-made drinks and delectable small bites.
